National Public Works Week May 17-23, 2026

National Public Works Week, celebrated each May, recognizes the dedicated public works professionals who help keep our communities safe, healthy, and running smoothly every day.

The Township is proud to celebrate National Public Works Week from May 17–23, 2026, and acknowledge the hardworking staff who maintain essential municipal services, including roads, water systems, and critical infrastructure.

This week provides an opportunity to recognize the important work public works staff do year-round, often behind the scenes and in all weather conditions, they support and strengthen our community.

Key Highlights of Public Works Week:

Recognizing Essential Services: Public works staff maintain vital infrastructure, deliver key municipal services, and respond to community needs each day.

Supporting the Community: From road maintenance and water operations to emergency response and community events, public works employees play a vital role in keeping the Township safe, connected, and functioning smoothly.

Showing Appreciation: Residents are encouraged to thank the public works team for their ongoing hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

On behalf of Council, staff, and the community, thank you to our Public Works team for your continued dedication, professionalism, and commitment to keeping Cramahe Township safe, connected, and running smoothly.
