Funding Announcement Brings Major Infrastructure Improvements to Cramahe
Province Announces Funding for Cramahe Water Infrastructure Project
The Township of Cramahe has been awarded $6,038,286 in funding through the Province of Ontario’s Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program – Health and Safety Water Stream. This investment will support the Township’s Gravity Sewer Expansion and Replacement Project, helping to modernize aging infrastructure, support future growth, and enhance long-term economic development opportunities within the municipality.
Mayor Mandy Martin noted that the funding will serve as a catalyst for expanded servicing to the industrial park and surrounding lands, supporting both residential and employment growth in Cramahe.
This funding is part of a broader provincial investment supporting water infrastructure improvements across Northumberland–Peterborough South communities.
