Hydro

The Township of Cramahe has two electricity supply companies:

 

  1.  Lakefront Utilities Services Inc.(LUSI)

    • Hydro One owns and maintains Ontario’s electricity transmission system and distribution system. Hydro one delivers electricity to both residential and business customers.

Gas

Union Gas Limited is the natural gas provider for the Township of Cramahe. Union Gas is a major supplier of natural gas storage to Ontario. This Canadian company has nearly 100 years of experience and serves 1.3 million residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Water and Wastewater

As of August 1st, 2021, Aquatech Canadian Water Services is pleased to take over the Operations of the Colborne Water Supply and Distribution System. 

Aquatech Canadian Water Services Inc is happy to provide the Township of Cramahe with services related to it's water supply and distribution system which will include: 

  • Water Meter Reading
  • Water Billing
  • Hydrant Inspections

Aquatech is devoted to maintaining high levels of trust, dedication and responsibility by supplying high quality and safe drinking water to the Township of Cramahe.

News Release - September 30, 2021

Aquatech Canadian Water Services has taken over of the operation of the water distribution system
of the Township of Cramahe as of August 1st.


Customer Service
Effective immediately, to better serve the Township of Cramahe and its citizens we have opened our
Cramahe office to the public from Tuesday to Friday until October 29th as follows:

Aquatech Canadian Water Services October Interim Schedule

Tuesday to Thursday 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm
Friday 9am-12pm and 1pm-2pm

Effective October 4th, we are adding a new local phone number 289-803-1225 in addition to our
toll-free line (1-866-932-4507).

 

Bill Payment
We are currently accepting all payment methods (cash, cheque, debit and credit card) at our office
at 2 Church Street West, Colborne. You may also pay via Interac transfer (e- transfer) through your
bank or online through your customer portal.


It is also possible to pay your bill through your bank by adding Cramahe Municipal Water as a
registered bill. This is available with:
• Royal Bank of Canada
• National Bank of Canada
• HSBC
• Bank of Montreal.

CIBC, Scotia and TD bank have indicated that they will also add Cramahe Municipal Water as a payee
within the next 3 weeks. Therefore, we expect that all major banks will have enlisted Cramahe
Municipal Water as a payee no later than October 18th.


Until then, we encourage bill payments at our office (cash, cheque, debit and credit card), via
Interac transfer (e-transfer) through your bank or online through your customer portal.
